Winner of the Relay for Life Gift Certificate I donated

The recipient of this cake went to a girl who won a certificate I donated to a woman raising money for her Relay for Life team. The cake was for a surprise wedding shower and it was a beach theme. The words on the cake are verses from their first song that they will be dancing to. What a great friend! Just so you know, the verses go around the cake. If you read it straight on it seems kinda weird. I thought it turned out really pretty. Thank you Janelle for donating to Relay for Life. It was a treat working with you.

Bridal Shower cake and cookies

Bridal shower cake was inspired by Damask designs. It was sooooooo hot that day and the cake was sweating a little but it still survived.

These were almond sugar cookies that were glazed and decorated with buttercream fondant and buttercream. Really yummy!

Mickey hat cake

Chocolate cake with caramel buttercream and Godiva chocolate caramel chunks.

Covered in black buttercream fondant.

Taking a leave of absence

I just wanted to let you all know that unfortunatley I will be taking a leave of absence from making cakes for about 7 weeks. My son has broken his left femur and I will be attending to his every need for a while. I apologize if you were going to order a cake from me and I hope that I can still do something for you in the future. I hope everyone has a great summer!

Little girl's tea party cake

A little girl was having a tea party and this was her cake. The design was inspired by a tablecloth they used. This was such a fun cake to do.
